The officer of the Security Service of Ukraine suspected of committing the accident on Mynaiska street in Uzhgorod is suspended

The Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region will conduct an official investigation into the accident involving an employee of the regional office. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Office Lyudmila Korshunova.

For the duration of the investigation, he will be suspended from duty. The official investigation will be conducted objectively and impartially. Appropriate decision will be taken based on its results.

"The position of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region is clear: the employee, who committed the offense, will be held responsible under current legislation", – Lyudmila Korshunova said.

Recall that on December 9, at about 21:40, in Uzhgorod, on the so-called "death cross" on Mynaiska street, a man with obvious signs of intoxication ran over two people.
