The offenders will have to answer for beating an Uzhgorod resident

Uzhgorod police quickly identified the perpetrators who inflicted injuries to the city resident. The investigation department opened criminal proceeding over this fact.
 
Recently a doctor of the regional hospital reported to Uzhgorod city police that a 58-year-old resident of the city had turned for medical care. During the medical examination, they found out injuries in the form of a closed head injury and concussion of the brain.
 
Law enforcement officers immediately came to the hospital to ascertain the circumstances of the incident. According to the victim, he had received the aforementioned injuries at his place from the men known to him. 
 
Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of Uzhgorod city police found out that two 36-year-old Uzhgorod residents were involved in the commission of the crime.
 
The incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations. Uzhgorod police investigation department opened the criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional infliction of minor bodily harm), which provides for the punishment inthe form of a fine in amount of fifty tax-free minimum incomes, community service for up to 200 hours, or correctional labor for up to 1 year. The investigation is ongoing.
