The number of road accidents in Transcarpathia has increased

In January 2019, 137 accidents occurred in Transcarpathia. Meanwhile, in the first month of 2018, 98 traffic accidents occurred. This statistics was reported by the head of the Patrol Police Office of Transcarpathian region Yuriy Martsenyshyn on UA: ZAKARPATTYA.
 
The head of the regional patrol police added that "in January 2019, 13 accidents with victims occurred, while last year this number was 18 accidents."
In addition, last year 8 accidents involving police officers happened in Uzhgorod, two cases of them  were through the fault of patrol policemen. "In 2019, as of today, only 1 accident has occurred through the fault of a patrol police car driver," – Yuriy Martsenyshyn said.
In 2018, the court considered 2000 reports on violations in patrol police work. "15% of them – about 300 cases – are closed. Those are about improper issuance of reports or orders by the policeman, missing dates, place and time of administrative offenses, improper classification of offenses by patrol policemen, lack of evidence of an offense, etc.", – the press secretary of Uzhgorod City and District Court Nadia Geirush said.
In total, last year, the Appeal Court of Transcarpathian region received 458 cases of appeals on administrative offenses. "Of these, 274 cases were considered, 140 were canceled and 74 were returned for revision," – Hanna Fazykosh, the head of the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal said.
