The night storm consequences in Uzhgorod

About 40 trees have been seriously damaged, 27 trees fell, in particular 16 of them – on Calvary Cemetery in Uzhgorod, after strong wind and heavy rain last night. Roofs on many buildings were significantly damaged, in particular, the roof at the "ambulance" station and the department store "Ukraine" were swept away. This was reported by the spokeswoman of Uzhgorod mayor Alla Hayatova.
 
 Also, there are numerous breaks of power lines of the external lighting on Kapushanskaya and Drugetiv Streets. Even more – of power station lines: on the following streets: Vysoka, Peremohy, Grushevskogo, Bercheni, Korytnyanskaya, Kobylyanska, Yokai and I. Vasha. Three traffic lights broke down.
 
 According to Alla Hayatova, city mayor Victor Pogorelov convened an emergency meeting, which resulted in emergency crews working around the city.
