The next volunteer clean-up in Uzhgorod will take place on October 4

Yesterday, September 20, there was a volunteer clean-up at the future sports rehabilitation center for disabled.

Recall that by the decision of Uzhgorod City Council, September 5, 2014, Transcarpathian Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Federation of Sports for Disabled with Lesions of the Musculoskeletal System received the premises of the former boiler house complex in area of over 1600 sq. m. at F.Tikhy st., 13B, with the rent of 1.2 UAH.

One of the first steps for the arrangement of the future sports rehabilitation center was the clean-up of an extremely cluttered and neglected territory of the former boiler house that took place on September 20, 2014. 

The task was to clear the facility perimeter to allow for beginning of construction work. During one day, through the efforts of dozens of people, they managed to do 60% of the planned activities.

The next volunteer clean-up is scheduled to be held after the celebrations of the Day of the city, on October 4, 2014, the karpatnews announced. Anyone wishing to take part are invited to come at 10.00, October 4, 2014, to the boiler house at F.Tikhy st., 13B.
