The new format of the holiday. Transcarpathian “Bears” celebrated the Volunteer Day sincerely, with gratitude and without officialdom (PHOTOS)

Opening of the thematic exhibition, a "bear" record, presentation of the collection of chevrons, presentation of awards, making of a camouflage net, and other surprises, and most importantly – a nice get together. This format of the Volunteer Day is introduced by the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers, also known as "Transcarpathian "Bears".

The thematic exhibition comprised only a small part of the history of the Movement in Transcarpathia. From the first collections of food to theatrical actions and presentations. This year, they have held 16 of them. Volunteers raised 132,756 UAH.

216 toy bears (the symbol of the volunteers is an armed bear) gathered in the office. The size of the collection was officially recorded in the certificate, although during the holiday it was replenished with four new bears. The fate of the collection will be settled after the war, but in any case it will be charitable.

At the festive event, the Movement took the opportunity to "embrace" their dear friends, and even their "family", when volunteers were accepting gratitude for their dedicated work. And the main philanthropists were awarded with "Bear Oscars" – very honorable awards from the heart.

Transcarpathian volunteers summed up the work already done and told about their current priorities. 2016 for the Movement in Uzhgorod was marked by compassion. Almost all campaigns were aimed at supportting front-line military hospitals, wounded Transcarpathians, provision of medicines and maintenance of military equipment, including medical. The Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers thanks to everyone, who have contributed to the cause – and those are very, very many people! The "Bears" congratulate everyone who has the "gene of caring" and wish them health, prosperity and further inspiration to change the world for the better!

It is particularly symbolic that the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is celebrated the next day – December 6, as these two friendly communities together bring our victory closer. And on this occasion, the Movement congradulates Ukrainian army!
