The National Park “Synevyr” presented a film about forests

At the National Park "Synevyr", there was the presentation of new scientific and popular movie about Synevyr forests.

The film is about natural forests of the National Nature Park "Synevyr" that together with forests of the CBR and Uzhok National Park claim for the protected status of UNESCO – the official site of of the National Park "Synevyr" informed.

The presentation of the film directed by Andriy Mikhailik was held at the Visitor Centre of the National Natural Park "Synevyr" and attended by conservationists, scientists, representatives of NGOs, local residents.

"Our scientists together with scientists of the Institute of Botany for several years have been exploring the natural forests and we are very pleased that their data on the presence of virgin forests in the Park "Synevyr" were confirmed. Now, we are working hard to ensure that these areas were included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the nomination "Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians", – the Director of the National Park "Synevyr" Mykola Derbak said.
