The National Commission revised the retail tariffs of power companies for May

The National Commission that carries out state regulation in the energy and utilities sectors has revised retail tariffs of power companies for May 2015.

Tariffs are fixed by the Resolution of the National Commission №1321 of April 28, 2015, the text of which is available to the "Interfax-Ukraine".

Retail tariffs for first-class voltage consumers from May 1 will be 119.48 kopiykas per 1 kWh (excluding VAT), for secong-class voltage consumers – 138.5 kopiykas per 1 kWh (excluding VAT).

Thus, retail tariffs for first-class voltage consumers will remain at the April level, and those for second-class voltage consumers will drop by 1.1%.

As reported, in 2014 (December 2014 vs. December 2013), retail tariffs for first-class voltage consumers increased by 27.2% – to 103.21 kopiykas per 1 kWh, those for second-class voltage consumers – by 21.9%, to 125.82 kopiykas per 1 kWh.
