The names of those killed in a plane crash in Transcarpathia announced
State Border Service of Ukraine announced the names of those killed in a plane crash in Transcarpathian region. Thus, in a plane crash three people died: Vitaliy Mamontov, the crew commander, the chief of the Odessa squadron Lysenko Alexander, the navigator, and Ogolyuk Konstantin, a board operator.
According to the State Border Service, on July 4, a special plane «Diamond DA-42" was completing the tasks on conducting air reconnaissance of the territory of the state border in the area of responsibility of Chop border detachment.
At about 3:00 p.m. near the village of Ruski Mochar the contact with the plane was lost. The Ministry of Emergency Situations together with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Security Service of Ukraine and local authorities organized search activities.
At 5.30 a.m., on July 5, in the direction of the village Ruski Mochar in the mountains, the search group found the aircraft debris and the bodies of three crew members.
At the moment the investigation to establish the causes and circumstances of the plane crash are being carried out.
