The director of the Transcarpathian Local Lore Museum Vasyl Sheba commented on the information, that was spread in some media, about the intention to eliminate Augustine Voloshin’s display.
"In connection with the information regarding the alleged liquidation of Augustine Voloshin’s display and the Krasne Pole memorial, I declare that it is nonsense!
According to the requirements of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine to the structure of museums, there is the approved staff list, in which the permanent display of Augustine Voloshin and the memorial complex "Krasne Polce" are the structural units of the local history department of the Transcarpathian Regional Local Lore Museum named after Tyvodar Lehotsky.
On this occasion, I want to ask respected journalists to check information with official representatives and not to spread blatant lies", – Vasyl Sheba said.
