On May 15, the Hutsul Festival "Berlybash banush" took place in the village of Kostylivka in Rakhiv district, the UNN reported.
The unique gastronomic event is taking place for the ninth consecutive year. This year, the festival has its mascot – Berlybashka, the cow which, according to the organizers, gave milk for today’s event. In fact, as the head of the village of Kostylivka Inna Moskaliuk told a correspondent of the UNN, 200 liters of cream for cooking festive banush were provided by local residents who are active participants of the festival.
But the real atmosphere of the unique, even for creative Transcarpathia, festival is best described by users of social networks who attended the unique event. "Berlybash banush" is probably the most amusing, eventful and conceptual festival that I have ever attended in Transcarpathia – Katerina Irkha, for whom Transcarpathia has become the second home since the aggression in the East, wrote on her page in Facebook. – Everything is on point! Costumes, sound, objects, cuisine… Everything, everything, everything! Nature sang us songs, kids sang theirs… Hutsuls with trembitas drove all evil to Yablunetsky pass)… It’s hard to find more sincere and better organization."
