In Uzhgorod, the first test cardiac coronary angiography was performed on the new angiography apparatus.
According to the head of the radiology and surgery department of the Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Cardiology Center Yaroslav Ratochka, this device is currently the most advanced, the best equipment in Ukraine(!!!). The doctor noted the excellent image quality, positioning accuracy, reduced dose of X-rays, and the extraordinary convenience and speed of the new equipment. The patient stayed in the operating room 15 minutes, and the examination itself took only 20 seconds!
Coronary angiography is a "gold standard" of patient examination, which allows to determine the location, extent and length of damage to the coronary arteries.
Recall that the purchase of modern high-end equipment "Artis Yee Floor Angiographic System with Extended Functions" for the Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Cardiology Center took place within the framework of the World Bank subproject "Improving Health Care for People in Transcarpathian Region". The purpose of the project is to increase the timeliness and quality of medical service provision to patients with cardiovascular diseases.
