The moratorium on the transfer of state-owned agricultural land into private ownership has been introduced

The deputies of the Regional Council at the first plenary meeting of the fourth session, taking into account the recommendations of the Presidium of the Transcarpathian Regional Council of July 26, 2016, adopted in connection with numerous appeals from village and town councils, in order to relieve social tension and to ensure the preservation of existing land resources in the region, resolved to temporarily prohibit the transfer of agricultural land outside the settlements of Transcarpathian region from state into private ownership.

This moratorium shall be valid until the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the extension of powers of local government for land management and strengthening of the state control over land use and protection" (reg. number 4355 of 31.03.2016).
