The Ministry of Regional Development recommended its project of the Prospective Plan for Transcarpathian Region

The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing has developed a draft Prospective Plan for the establishment of capable united territorial communities of Transcarpathian region and sent it for examination to the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. According to the project of the Ministry, 40 communities including the existing ones, should be established in Transcarpathia.

According to Ivan Demyanchuk, the Director of the Transcarpathian Center for Local Self-Government Development established with the assistance of the "U-LEAD with Europe" Program, this project of the Prospective Plan for the establishment of capable united communities in Transcarpathian region is only a proposal. The Transcarpathian Regional Council should consider and adopt the plan. However, since the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration has not submitted its own draft plan to the Regional Council, the Ministry helped the region. Now everything is up to the Regional State Administration, the Transcarpathian Center for Local Self-Government Development stressed.
