On September 20, the Law of Ukraine of September 17, 2015 № 704-VII "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015’" came into force. The was law published in the issue of the newspaper "Holos Ukrainy" of September 19, 2015 №174.
In particular, the law provides that as of September 1, this year, the minimum wage shall be 1,378 UAH.
The authorities are allowed to raise wages over the amount determined in accordance with the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at the expense and within the limits of their own funds on the basis of the decisions as of September 1, 2015 and the opportunities provided by Article 101 of the Budget Code of Ukraine.
