During the past week, 142 cases of measles were registered, down 15% from the previous week (142 versus 168 cases). Among the infected people, children under 17 years old make up 75% (106 cases), adults – 25% (36 cases). According to the available data, out of 142 patients, 67% have not been vaccinated against measles, and 10% have not completed vaccination complex.
Since the beginning of 2018, 4,289 cases of measles have been registered in the region, which 340 per 100 thousand people. 3,407 patients are children under 17 years old (80%) and 882 are adults (20%).
