The Mayor of Uzhgorod is not satisfied with the work of the gas company and journalists

The Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov at today’s executive committee meeting expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that workers of "Zakarpathaz" destroyed the asphalt on Koshytska street. This happened during the consideration of the issue concerning the issuance of permits for earthworks.

According to the mayor, the gas company performed the works improperly. The mayor’s subordinate said that there was a "lack of understanding" between the city council and the "Zakarpathaz."

Victor Pogorelov threatened to complain to prosecutors unless they reach agreement.

At the end of the meeting of the executive committee, Uzhgorod mayor expressed his indignation about journalists who write that at the executive committee "issues are solved in 5 minutes." According to the mayor, the issues are prepared for two weeks.

As you know, last Saturday, Victor Pogorelov became famous all over Ukraine because policemen and people of specific appearance did not let journalists and social activists to the city council.

Moreover, according to the OPORA, Uzhgorod City Council ranked the lowest 11th position among the cities where activists determined the index of publicity.
