The company of the Transcarpathian Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after brothers Yuriy-Augustine and Yevhen Sherehiy has received the academic status and from now on will be referred to as the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after brothers Yuriy-Augustine and Yevhen Sherehiy.
The relevant order was signed by the Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk based on the decision of the Expert Commission of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine on granting the academic status in the field of theater art, which unanimously agreed at its meeting to support the request of the Transcarpathian Regional Council and to grant the theater the academic status for high professionalism and creative achievements.
