On March 15, at 19.00, a lecture about female musicians of different eras will be held in Uzhgorod. Could a woman be a composer in the 16th century? What about the 19th? After all, when we speak about these musical eras, we usually mention only male composers.
Could women of that time be engaged in music on an equal basis with men? What was their work and contribution to musical history? It will focus on prominent female composers and the difficulties they had to face.
The lecture is organized by the educational platform "Equality Lab". The Equality Lab is a platform that unites people who want to develop tolerant, conscious society.
