The last bell is ringing in Transcarpathian schools (PHOTO)

The last bell has rung in Uzhgorod school №10 named after Doiko Gabor, which is a school with Hungarian language of instruction. Today, 450 students are enrolled in the school, and for 15 of them this school bell and school line-up were indeed the last. In addition to teachers, city officials and guests from the Hungarian Consulate, a Reformed priest also congratulated the graduates.

Overall, on Friday, May 27, all 668 schools celebrated the holiday of the last bell. According to the director of the Department of Education of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hanna Sopkova, over 156,000 students of the region are completing the academic year. Of those, more than 13 thousand are ninth-graders. More than 8 and a half thousand Transcarpathians will receive certificates of secondary education, of which 451 are contenders for medals.
