The largest amount of drunk drivers were detected in Irshava district (INFOGRAPHICS)

During July, the largest number of reports for drunk driving were made by the Irshava Police Department, the communications department of the Transcarpathian regional police reported.

Since the beginning of the year, officers of the Transcarpathian patrol police response teams have caught and brought to the administrative responsibility 703 drivers who were driving vehicles in the state of alcohol or drug intoxication.

In July, the largest amount of such reports were drawn up by Irshava Police Department – 14 and Uzhgorod District Police Department – 13. Since the beginning of the year, the leaders have been Uzhgorod district – 90, Irshava district – 88, Khust district – 77, Beregovo district – 73 and Tyachiv police department – 71.

All the reports of administrative offenses against the offenders under Art. 130 of the CAO (Driving a vehicle by a person who is in a state of alcohol intoxication) will be forwarded to the court for making a final decision.
