The kiosk on the embankment will be dismantled. The deputy Doktor says that it was installed legally

"As a deputy, I think that it should not be there – it spoils the view of the embankment," – the deputy of the city council Oleksandr Doktor, who is rumoured to be involved in the installation of the new kiosk near the linguistic school, said.

He said that the kiosk had been set under a long-standing agreement as a tourist information center, which is necessary for the city, but there is no money for it. So it was made by a patron. However, as a representative of the owner, he admitted that the kiosk should change its location.

The Acting Mayor Victor Shchadey said: "In the city, there are entrepreneurs who have permits for kiosks, including for those in the city center. We need to do something about it. As for this kiosk, it must be removed. And the new chief architect of the city must approve the new location of this tourist information center. But it definitely must be dismantled, as there is a negative reaction of the people."

Members of the executive committee voted to dismantle it. But Oleksandr Doktor insists that the kiosk was established legally – there are all necessary documents. To which Shchadey said that they were not going to legalize agreements with previous city government. The Department of Architecture was tasked to provide the Executive Committee the list of kiosks, which have permits.
