At the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary in Uzhgorod, they solemnly handed the 50000th Schengen visa. That’s the number of visas issued to Ukrainian citizens by the diplomatic institution since the beginning of this year – the Consul General Josef Bochkayi said.
The recipient of the 50000th Schengen visa was a student of UzhNU, a resident of Mukachevo, Andreya Lendyel. She received the document from the hands of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda who said that the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary in Uzhgorod works quickly and smoothly. In turn, the high guest – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Dr. Peter Vintermantel congratulated the recipient of the visa and gave her flowers. Afterwards, he said that he had come to Uzhgorod specifically for this grand event.
As Andreya told our publication, she had to wait for the 5 year Schengen visa… just three days. The first Hungarian city that the girl is going to visit is Budapest
