Such high water level has not been seen here for quite a while.

Local residents recall that during the catastrophic flood in the spring of 2001, water reached the bank level and damaged the suspension bridge connecting Naberezhna and Borkanyuk streets. Then the situation was saved because the rain stopped…

Today, it was not raining during the day, and water dropped down a little. 

But there are already flooded households in the district.

The horticulture capital – Zarichchya – is covered by water; farmland is flooded and the water is approaching the road and households. Some basements are already wet.

Weather forecasters are not encouraging – tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, rainfalls are expected.
