The II Forum of Energy Efficient Partnership, organized at the initiative of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine took place in Kyiv, the official page of Uzhgorod City Council on Facebook informs.
Representatives of Uzhgorod city council – the Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Gabor, the Acting Director of the Department of Municipal Economy Oksana Paida and a member of the City Council Viktor Schadey – took part in the Forum.
The opening ceremony of the Forum was attended by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman, responsible representatives of the government, Ruslana, the head of Ukraine Support Group at the European Commission Peter Wagner, heads of international projects USAID, IFC, GIZ.
At the Forum, they discussed the features of energy efficiency in the residential sector and the practical implementation of the Energoservice mechanism in the public sector.
The key event of the II Forum of Energy Efficient Partnership was the signing of Memoranda of Pertnership between the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and local authorities to implement the Energoservice for improvement of the energy efficiency of public institutions. Such document was also concluded with Uzhgorod.
