For two days now, drivers in Uzhgorod, at the intersection of Lehotsky-Bobyak-Peremoha streets have been driving through the reconstructed intersection, where a ring road was arranged.
The City Hall informs: the process is not finished yet. The work being carried out by the company KBK is still ongoing, and currently there is only the "rough" layer of asphalt-concrete coating on the roadway. The final road course will be finished in the spring – another layer of asphalt will be laid.
The planting of flowers in the central part of the circle is also ongoing, the project of street lighting at this site is being developed.
The total estimated cost of works financed by the City Council is just over UAH 5.4 million.
PS As informed in the City Hall, Bobyak street is the correct name; it was corrected, because the real name of the person it is named after is Mykola Bobyak, an Uzhgorod police officer who died during the performance of his duties in 1994.
