Today, the XV International Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in memory of the first president of the Transcarpathian Regional Greco-Roman Wrestling Federation Mykhailo Tokar was opened in the Mukachevo Children and Youth Sports School, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Council informed.
This year, 352 boys from Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Belarus will take part in the tournament. 24 teams from different regions of Ukraine will also compete.
The tournament will last three days – until November 18. The competition will be in two age categories: younger boys aged 10-12 years and cadets – 15-16 years. The chief judge of the competition is a judge of the national category, master of sports of international class, European champion Ivan Kukushkin.
