The IMF approved the draft state budget for 2016 and tax reform

The International Monetary Fund approved the draft state budget 2016 and tax reform.

This was stated on one of the TV channels by the Deputy Finance Minister Olena Makeyeva, the "Ukrainski Novyny" informed.

"We discussed all budget figures, we discussed tax reform. And we agreed it with them, as they are our reliable partner", – she said.

Makeyeva also said that the Finance Ministry was open to dialogue and ready to consider proposals for changes to the budget and tax reform.

According to her, the tax concept proposed by the Ministry of Finance is socially oriented, as the minimum wage will be increased.

She reminded that the tax burden on the payroll and in particular on employers must be reduced.

As reported, the Finance Ministry initiates the adoption of the state budget for 2016 with revenues of UAH 598.210 billion and expenditures of UAH 673.967 billion.

The Finance Ministry proposes to unify rates of tax on personal income, single social tax, value added tax and income tax at 20%.
