The sidewalks and the adjacent area on Vilmosh Kovach street in Uzhgorod near the "Bilochka" market was cleared of garbage this morning.
The people, who organized the illegal market there, made their "workplaces" of all kinds of rubbish: old tables, boxes, pallets, boards, etc. So, employees of the Uzhbudservice Ltd, who serve this territory, removed all that and took out by a truck.
Employees of the municipal inspection department of Uzhgorod City Council once again warned the vendors that trade is allowed only in designated places. Specifically, in this case, at the "Bilochka" market, there is enough free space there. On Monday, if illegal trade continues, the police will be imposing fines and seizing the goods.
Recall that on the day before, at the meeting in Uzhgorod City Council (with the participation of representatives of the State Service for Consumer Affairs, the National Police, patrol police in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo), they discussed, in particular, illegal trade, which it is especially widespread near the markets. At the meeting, they decided to establish a working group, which, in addition to the police officers, will also include employees of the State Service for Consumer Affairs and the State Fiscal Service. Together with market directors, deputies of the city council, they will be conducting raids at the markets with the confiscated of goods being traded illegally.
