March 16, 2014 at 18:00, in the "Art Center "Ilko Gallery", there will be a soiree of choral music.
Taras Shevchenko’s poetry in folk songs and works of contemporary Ukrainian composers Bohdana Frolyak, Valentyn Silvestrov.
"The music program will include arrangements of folk songs, and music of Bohdana Frolyak for the poetry of Taras Shevchenko. Our friends from Uzhgorod – the "Cantus" choir – will also participate in the commemoration of the poet, and artist Ostap Lozynsky will provide the set design for the soiree. The title "Blossom" is a spiritual connection with Taras Shevchenko, and the subtitle emphasizes the poet’s words: "Am I living, or am I dying, or am I just roaming the world…". – Natalia Polovynka told about of the concert.
