On April 25, the National student painting contest "Silver Easel" started in the city of Uzhgorod. The founder and organizer of the event is the cultural and artistic foundation "BROVDI ART". The contest will run through April 29.
"Silver Easel" has become one of the most prestigious events of this format in Ukraine. In total, the organizing committee has received 345 applications and portfolios of talented young people from almost all universities in Ukraine. Following the pre-selection, the committee announced the list of 51 students who arrived to Uzhgorod yesterday.
The contest consists of three stages: "Cityscape", "Improvisation", and "Portrait". In addition to competitive tasks, there is a cultural and excursion program for the participants and the jury. All participants will receive certificates and gifts from the organizers and partners; and the winners will also receive prizes. The works by young artists will be published in the catalog of the art project.
The work will be rated by the academic jury composed of prominent artists and cultural figures of Ukraine.
