The historical reenactment of the wedding of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly will be held in the “Palanok” tomorrow

The event, which took place 337 years ago, will be reenacted on Saturday, June 15, in the Palanok castle.

The program includes: festive procession, wedding ceremony, medieval dances, shield & sword fights, military maneuvers, battles from the historical reenactment club "Order of St. Nicholas" and guests from Slovakia, firing with ancient guns on the eastern bastion and middle court yard.

On 11 o’clock, the craft town will open – children’s knight tournament, blacksmithing, pottery, archery, knight camp, delicious cuisine, the best wines of Transcarpathia, delicious honey products.

13.30 – solemn procession at the entrance to the castle, wedding ceremony – at 14.00, in the courtyard of the upper castle.

19.00 – 22.00 – charming harp melodies by Zdena Teslichko, performance of the string quartet under the direction of Serhiy Dobosh, performance of the Kings & Beggars medieval ensemble and fire show from "Fire Life" Fire Theater (Uzhgorod).
