On Monday, it should already be warm in education, health care, culture and social protection institutions. The members of the City Council at the special session voted for the commencement of the heating season.

The members of the executive committee of Uzhgorod city council at the special meeting voted for the commencement of the heating season in Uzhgorod City Children’s Clinical Hospital, the City Central Clinic and the maternity hospital on October 7, 2016.
The need for such a decision is due to appeals of chief doctors of these institutions, because, due to the significant cooling, the temperature in the premises of the medical institutions does not meet sanitary requirements. For example, in the maternity ward, neonatology room, neonatal intensive care unit, etc., it should be at least 25 degrees.
By another decision, they voted for the commencement of the heating season of 2016-2017 in educational, health care, cultural and social welfare institutions of Uzhgorod on October 10, 2016.
It is unknown when the heating season in residential houses will be announced. Meanwhile, not only heating in apartments and houses depends on it, but also the amount of subsidy.
