The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration ordered subordinates to save

The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Valeriy Lunchenko approved measures for the economical and efficient use of public funds provided for operation of district state administrations and departments of the RSA.

The order was issued pursuant to the government decision "On saving public funds and prevention of budget losses." The "governor" prohibited his subordinates to pay for mobile communication services at the expense of the budget, officials will not be allowed to buy cars, furniture, office equipment and carry out repairs.

Subdivisions of the RSA will not be permitted to use more than one car (in total, there are 22 such subdivisions at the RSA). Also it was decided to discontinue the payment of monetary compensation to civil servants for their diligent continuous work in state authorities, exemplary performance of job duties. 

The wages of Transcarpathian officials will also be limited – the maximum amount of monthly salary for managers is limited to 15 minimum wages. Also, vacant positions at the RSA and DSAs will not be filled.
