The head of the RSA reviewed the construction of the regional hospital surgical department

Valeriy Lunchenko inspected the construction of the regional hospital surgery department. 

On Thursday, April 10, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration visited the construction site of the regional hospital surgery department building.
The construction of a new surgery department with 150 beds started in 2004. The new building will accommodate traumatology department, vascular surgery department, thoracic surgery department, general surgery department, physiotherapy department, X-ray department, laboratory, centralized sterilization room. Putting a new surgery department in operation will allow to unload the old hospital buildings, which are more than 100 years old, to reorganize other hospital departments with the creation of modern conditions for the provision of specialized medical care to residents of the region.

During the period of the construction from 2004 to October 1, 2013, works for a total of more than 33,655,000 UAH from the state and local budgets were performed and funded at the site.
 – Today, for the commissioning of the department we need to buy some medical equipment and furniture. 2,200,000 UAH is provided in the regional budget for the purchase of equipment, and also we need 800,000 UAH for setting up a water supply to the new building and the hospital in general. I am sure, this important medical facility will start working soon – Valeriy Lunchenko said.
