The halls of the museum turned into a lecture hall

This week, in the exhibition halls of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum, there was the presentation of the project "Heritage of Visegrad Four and partners in English" – «English for V4 Cultural Heritage Promotion». Teachers and students of Uzhgorod National University, the Institute of Foreign Languages ​​translated the guide "Transcarpathian regional museum" by the museum director Vasyl Sheba, and compiled an online glossary of cultural and historical terms in 5 languages. 

The presentation was held by a lecturer of the English Philology department Diana Kubichka. Students and museum staff were welcomed by the Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages ​​Mykhailo Roshko, the acting Vice-Rector, Doctor of Political Sciences Miroslava Lengyel, Ph.D. of the Institute of Art of Presov University (Slovakia) Magdalena Razushova. The Director of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum Vasyl Sheba told about research and search activities of the institution for the preservation of cultural and historical values ​​and a deeper cooperation of the museum with UzhNU.

The presentation on the online glossary was held by students of the English department Yu. Borysenko, M. Kostyk and N. Butorina.
