Recall that on May 5, Uzhgorod school №19 became the epicenter of the scandal: an unknown person called the police and reported that the school, where 255 children were taking tests, was mined. The testing was disrupted. As it turned out, the "bomber" was a first-year student of a higher educational institution in Transcarpathia. The young man decided to do that to help his girlfriend to postpone testing and give her time to prepare.
The joker planned the action quite carefully. He bought a new sim card and threw the mobile phone, which he used to make the call, into the river. Later, it was found by divers.
The police launched a preliminary investigation under Part 1 of Art. 259 (knowingly false report of a threat to the safety of citizens) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the press group of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region informed. Now the guy faces punishment by a fine up to 1700 UAH, arrest for up to six months or imprisonment for up to 3 years
