The grenade found in Uzhgorod quarry was destroyed

April 30, experts of the Special Rescue Division of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office inTranscarpathian region examined the bottom of the reservoir, where an F-1 grenade of the WorldWar II period had been found.

The explosive had been found in the city quarry on the day before by one of the swimmers at the depth of 15 meters.

Using special equipment, the professionals removed the dangerous discovery and destroyed it at amilitary training ground.
