The government is counting how many people have gone to work abroad

Up to nine million Ukrainians go abroad every year for seasonal work.

This was stated by Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reva during the opening speech at the opening of the International Labor Organization project "Inclusive labor market for job creation in Ukraine", the correspondent of the Ukrinform reported.

"Nowadays, labor migration is mostly seasonal in nature. According to our estimates, up to 9 million Ukrainian citizens are invlolved in this process annually," – Reva said.

He also added that according to the State Migration Service of Ukraine, more than 3 million 200 thousand Ukrainian citizens work abroad permanently.
