The government has temporarily prohibited Ukrainians to go to work abroad

The Cabinet of Ministers introduced a temporary ban on the departure of seasonal workers. 
According to Kaimo Kuusk, the Estonian ambassador to Kyiv, at present, you can leave Ukraine only to visit relatives living in EU countries. 
“Finland wanted to bring in seasonal workers, a total of 14,000 people. There were lengthy negotiations and eventually Finland was able to persuade Ukraine. However, after sending the first 200 people to Helsinki, the Ukrainian government terminated further charter flights, and seasonal workers are no longer allowed to go abroad,” – he said. 
We will add that the border crossing points are open and you can go to visit relatives to Poland, Romania, Hungary, as well as Slovakia. 
It should be reminded that after the introduction of the state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic, about one million people from different countries had to return to Ukraine. The Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said those people could stay home and help develop the national economy. 
Kaimo Kuusk also added that the ban on the departure of seasonal workers was set without a specific date.
