Not only pensioners but also people with disabilities will receive a one-time payment in the amount of UAH 1,000 promised by the President Volodymyr Zelensky in connection with the quarantine.
The Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebna announced that on Thursday, March 19 in the show "Right to Power".
"On April 1, we will start paying out one-time assistance – UAH 1 thousand. According to the government’s decision, pensioners with a pension under UAH 5 thousand will receive a lump sum payment – UAH 1 thousand. Such payment will also be given to children with disabilities, social pensioners, disabled since childhood,” – she explained.
Lazebna also assured that if any of the pensioners has a debt for utilities during the quarantine period, their subsidy will not be canceled and they will not be charged a fine.
