The government has adopted a number of decisions to protect Ukrainians from COVID-19

The Government has approved measures to be taken in view of the threat of a coronavirus epidemic in Ukraine and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 11, it was decided to allocate UAH 100 million for the purchase of personal protective equipment for the current needs of ministries, departments and services, as well as for replenishment of the state reserve. At the same time, in order to implement this decision, the export of anti-epidemiologic goods shall be prohibited until June 1 in order to ensure the provision with the necessary means of public protection.
The Cabinet of Ministers proposed imposing restrictions on mass events with 200 or more people. But this does not apply to government events. Sports events may be held with the permission of international organizations, without spectators.
It is also planned to introduce quarantine in educational institutions for a period of three weeks.
In addition, it was decided to purchase infrared distant screening equipment at Boryspil International Airport.
