The Head of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Roman Hudak received a letter of gratitude from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany for the successful search and rescue operation, which lasted from January 24 to 26, 2019 in the Carpathians, near the Drahobrat Mountain, Rakhiv district. The specialists of the mountain rescue service rescued a skier from Germany, who had gotten lost on the highlands due to adverse weather conditions and was in great danger.
