The exhibition "Graphic Transcarpathia" once again opened yesterday in the "Uzhgorod" gallery. 40 authors presented their oeuvre (about 60 works).
Graphics was presented to connoisseurs of art by both acknowledged masters of the genre and beginners. Until recently, there was a decline of this genre of art in the region. However, in recent years, the number of representatives of graphics has increased and artistic level of works by beginners significantly progresses.
The highlight of the event was the fact that some of the participants were presenting their works for the first time and, as organizers assured, though it’s not a professional level, but the works are naively bright and sunny.
Recall that since 2007, the exhibition of graphics has been presenting achievements in various techniques of graphic art created by the authors over two years. The exhibition usually features works by not only members of the Union of Artists of Transcarpathia or youth association but also by other professional artists.
