Anya. The little girl. The girl who laughs heartily and glows with happiness when she’s all right. The girl who loves walking the city in a good company. Just like other children. But Anya is not like the others. She is a special child. She moves in a wheel carriage and at the age of 5 sees the world as it is seen by one-year olds. But every day of struggle by her family, especially mother, improves the child’s condition. And for this, the woman is ready to overcome any difficulties.
On Anya’s birthday caring Transcarpathians made her a gift. It is thanks to them that almost 30,000 UAH were raised, which allowed to pay for a major surgery. Then, on December 10, doctors made incisions to loosen the tendons. Thanks to this Anya squints her eyes less, covers her mouth, bends legs, grabs toys and other objects, and recently she crawled on her own!
The mother of the special girl is happy and in her mind constantly thanks to kind people. Because it is hard for her without help. The disability pension does not cover the needs for medicines. Therefore, to raise funds for treatment, she weaves beaded jewelry and sometimes, very rarely, appeals for help to the people.
Larysa talks enthusiastically about new advances of her daughter. About the new sounds that Anya began to make. About massages and trips to a neurologist. And recently, she sent a video of her daughter standing on her legs and making first steps!
On the streets of Uzhgorod, Larysa often faces outright hostility and rudeness. It hurts. But Larysa is a strong woman. She knows that there are many good and sincere people in the world. And she asks to thank everyone for their help. Both financial and moral. "Anyutka and I sincerely thank everybody and we know that everybody will be repaid a hundredfold for the kindness," – Larysa Voyevodina says.
