The first news from Narodna Square: they plan to create the People’s Council and ban the PR in Transcarpathia

At the Assembly, which is now taking place on Narodna Sq., they announced that on January 28, at 08.30, there would be the regionwide public meeting.

All the deputies of the region must be present there and establish the "Transcarpathian People’s Council" – a new local authority.

It will be temporary, but legitimate authority. They said that the first decision will be the ban of the Party of Regions and the Communist party in the region. 

Recall that today, the Transcarpathian Regional Administration will not be blocked.

Right now, the press service of the regional council informed that tomorrow, at 9 am, there would be the session of the regional council. Journalist who want to be there need to register. The police asked a list of journalists and their IDs.

Deputy Viktor Baloha, who made a special trip from Kyiv to Uzhgorod for the assembly, assured that tomorrow the Transcarpathian Regional Council would pass the decision, and the People’s Council would be established in Transcarpathia.
