The first meeting of the Advisory Council of Mayors at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration will take place in Uzhgorod  

The first meeting of the Advisory Council of Mayors at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration will take place on August 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the session hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Council. The meeting will be chaired by the Chairman of the Advisory Council, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksiy Petrov, who will talk about the activities of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. The idea of ​​establishing the Advisory Council at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration was discussed, and the proposal was supported on February 11, 2020 at the General Meeting of the Transcarpathian Regional Council of the AUC. It is possible that the Transcarpathian Advisory Council will be the first example an effective dialogue platform between the state executive in the region and local governments of a new type – united territorial communities – to achieve the main goal of decentralization reform – improving quality and standard of living in communities.
