Last night, an extraordinary meeting on urgent measures in connection with the possible COVID-19 case in Mukachevo was held in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The meeting was attended by law enforcement officers, doctors and rescuers of the region.
During the meeting, they decided:
– SES employees shall disinfect the house where the person suspected of having coronavirus lives;
– the police shall identify the persons the patient has had contacts with and the places she has been at;
– the doctors sent the patient’s tests to the reference laboratory of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health in Kyiv for confirmation or refutation of the COVID-19 infection; are examining contact persons; obliging them to self-isolation.
"We are prepared and know what to do if coronavirus is detected. The regional infectious diseases hospital is designated as the primary care facility for patients with confirmed or suspected coronavirus. Stay calm, follow the safety rules and STAY AT HOME" – the acting head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksiy Hetmanenko said.
