The first case of a border guard having COVID-19 disease has been reported in Transcarpathia

The first case of COVID-19 disease among border guards was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The press service of the State Border Guard Service reported that a border guard of one of the units a few days ago had been hospitalized to the central district hospital with fever. At that time, doctors diagnosed him with an ARI.

The first rapid test for COVID-19 was negative, but PCR test confirmed coronavirus infection.

"At present, the serviceman feels fine, the body temperature is normal. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine maintains a constant contact with the doctors to provide the serviceman with everything necessary," – the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine added.
