On Thursday, April 4, at 5:00 pm, the film "When trees are falling" will be screened in the Transcarpathian Regional Scientific Universal Library within the framework of the All-Ukrainian festival "New Ukrainian Cinema".
Drama "When trees are falling" is the full-length debut of director and scriptwriter Marysia Nikitiuk, which was premiered within the Panorama Berlinale competition program of the 68th Berlin Film Festival. The film also won the "Discovery of the Year" award from the First National Film Critic Award "KINOKOLO".
From March 1 to April 30, the first film club festival "New Ukrainian Cinema" will be held in Ukraine. Anyone can hold the festival in their city – curators of film clubs and activists, who can offer space for shows, are invited to cooperation. To do this, you need to leave an application on the site of the project "Film Club. All-Ukrainian Network". The rights to films are granted for non-profit screenings.
The festival is organized by the "Arthouse Traffic" company with the support of the State Agency of Ukraine on Cinema.
